black robed devil vs white robe angel (7/14/2005)

been criticized? did i hear yes? hmmm.. what was it like? full bodied red wine or a cup of black coffee? *grin* once in a while we can say that we are glad that we have been criticized for what we have done *though most of the times we are not :p* mmmm who usually criticize you? let me guess ... those who are more superior than you? right? oh c'mon ... NOD!!! :p boss, parents, employers, bla bla bla ...

let's say you believe that critics are constructive and you want to challenge yourself to be a much better you on daily basis quest, will you rely only on all-of-the-superior-being-in-your-life-you-know-who's critics? i will not. for several reasons. sometimes i am afraid *sometimes this is my defense system as well :D* they criticize me out of jealousy :p, they criticize me just because they feel that they are responsible to assess my performance, they criticize me too mildly that i do not find any point in it *they do not want to see my bulging eyes or my fist perhaps :D* hahahahaha and so many other reasons.

but i think the best answer why i will never rely on their critics only to be a much better me is that the hours i spend with them is limited compared to the hours i spend with my innerself *sigh*. 24/7. huhuhu. i think i should also consider the critics from my innerself. hey, who will be the biggest critic to us if not ourselves? if the black robed devil wins, we will just neglect the critic, go on with our life, our innerself will only stay silent. if the white robed angel wins, we will consider the critic, do some adjustment and yes the innerself will still remain silent. nice eh? imagine if we talk back to our superior when they criticize us, what will happen? of course there are several full of understanding superiors, but how many of them?

make a distance between you and your innerself. let it alive. together with the black robed devil and white robed angel :p. be true to yourself. be ready to be criticized. be ready to talk back :p. learn and don't be afraid of falling. be prepared to see the real you eventually.

errr...faceless friends with crazy mind helps sometimes ;) *waving to my cherished friends out there you know who!*
